Recently, I opened my 90-Tage-Galerie – 90 days gallery - in my home village Bardenbach in South-West Germany. The idea started in a nostalgic mood – I was looking for old family photos in the house of my grandparents when I stepped into their ehemalig grocery shop. They built it in the Fifties. Now it was empty, with masked windows and a „for sale“ sign in front. But nobody interested... So I decided to renovate and remodel it. During three months my friend Michel and I worked there, without concept, but with a lot of fun and good energy. Ideas just flew in and all came together very easily.
First show includes photos I took in Californian deserts and in the 1000-inhabitans-village Bardenbach. I like to show the contrast between these two „worlds“ which both mean a lot to me and fit pretty well together.
Check it out! 90-Tage-Galerie, Zum Fels 1, 66687 Wadern-Bardenbach.
Opening hours: Thursday and Friday, 5 – 8 pm, Sunday, 3 – 6 pm.
